• to plan how best to react to the issue, in compliance with ACAS guidelines
• to ensure that you involve the right people in the different steps of the process (investigation, hearing and appeal) so that the process is fair and impartial
• by coaching you through the process and providing guidelines to help you manage the conversation prior to it taking places
• by acting as your HR representative and / or note-taker during the conversation
• by providing the appropriate documentation throughout the process
